Anyone who has H1B extension and AP and EAD ....it is better to have H1B stamped on passport and use the same to enter US....do not listen to others....
It is up to you if you entend to use H1B stamp or AP....the POE officer cannot force you to use AP or H1B stamp...carry all the documents with you.
THe best thing about getting H1B stamped is that in case of 485 rejection you can still be on H1B and file for reopening your case. Peace of mind is the key here

If someone can share their experience that will be great.
It is the first contract between Company (B) and my husbands company (A). Above all my husband himself found this project.
Above all, the contract between Company (B) and Company (A) does not mention the end client name, and the contract seems to be a general contract, basically saying that my husband is rendering services to Company (B).
I will really appreciate all the help and guidance.

You cannot work on EAD...but if you apply for EAD replacement and if you received receipt, then you can work on receipt for 90 days. Hope this helps.

Folks,
NSC and TSC are still processing the mid june filers cases. Please see the below link. They are slow in issuing receipts. The date you are seeing is notice dates. The receipt date are june or prior to that.

Ask for the copies and doctor will give copies of all reports.
Will the doctor share the results of the Tests with us ?Can we assume if we get the sealed envelope ,every thing is fine ?

I've done the entire process on my own untill today. I also did not have any lawyers involved in any of the misdemeanors. I do have documentation of all the cases. All cases are closed and I'm just paying the fines and have to put up with the probation. I spoke to a lawyer (first time I met with him) today and he advise me to pay him $600 to accompany me to the interview.
Any take on the lawyer's advice? Or can I take the challenge on my own?
Better to take a lawyer with you. He knows immigration law better than you do. At the most you stand to lose 600 bucks that way.

Does the I-9 need to be refreshed each year?
I have a copy of my Jan 2009 I-94 which is not the most recent one - I believe that was the one that was sent to my employer's lawyers. In Jan 2010, I did get an original I-94 (the one I lost) but did not use it to apply for I-9 (atleast to the best of my knowledge).
Thanks for being so responsive and helping me out. The other thing is the time constraint that I have to take off on Dec 29th (tomorrow). What also worries me is that if I approach the Immigration/customs folks at the nearby airport, won't they basically ask me to fill an I-102 and wait for 3-6 months before I can travel? I don't want to do that since I need to travel now due to family issues.

The I94 is the one that determines our legal status. The I102 process is long and not worth it, try talking to the local customs and immigration folks I know it may sound scary but most likely if they cannot issue you a replacement one they won't prevent you from travelling. As long as they are able to create a departure record for you for the 29th that should be ok, normally that is what happens with the I94, the airline staff submits it to these folks who would scan and enter in the system. To make things easy the best way is if you can get the I94# in anyway or you can just choose to travel nothing should stop you, but its always good to be honest and report things to the concerned agencies. All the best and good luck.

I sent money order for some applications and personal checks for some.
Money Order can be tracked thru' ur bank - call them and ask how. I did and they gave a 1-800 number to call and track - it is an automated system. My money order was thru' Chase Bank

Not sure as to "how long" but AFAIK , but when a person doesnt work in the same location as mentioned in LCA of H1B, an amendment needs to be filed. I would talk to a reliable attorney.
